Winner of The Time Out award for Best Hackney Pub in E8

We were handed the keys on the 22nd December 2011…We gave it a good scrub, lit some candles and opened the doors that very same night. There was no brand spanking new make-over, just some small changes here and there. The Three Compasses is hundreds of years old, and we’ve strived to stick to its roots as a proper East End boozer. No pretension, just the best local craft beer, delicious burger pop-ups, friendly staff, major sports fixtures on projectors, a lovely beer garden and the best pub quiz in Hackney.

It all began with a little oven, chugging away in Johnnie’s backyard. Ten years later and they’re serving award winning pizza across North, East and now South London. With delicious gluten free and vegan/veggie pizzas available, they really have something delicious for everyone.

We've an extensive spirits selection, especially single malts and gin, solid wine list, and freshly shaken classic cocktails. I know!
