ABOUT US
We were handed the keys on the 22nd December 2011…We gave it a good scrub, lit some candles and opened the doors that very same night. There was no brand spanking new make-over, just some small changes here and there. The Three Compasses is hundreds of years old, and we’ve strived to stick to it’s roots as a proper East End boozer. No pretension, just amazing local craft beer, the best burger pop-ups, friendly staff, major sports fixtures on projectors, a lovely beer garden and the best pub quiz in East London. We're a home from home local pub and won the Time Out award for Best Pub in Hackney E8.

Our current kitchen residents Filthy Buns serve up the very best burgers in East London, so says The Hackney Gazette and Hot Dinners. With meat from Ginger Pig and half the menu being vegan (and hotly touted by The Little London Vegan) they really do cater for everyone.
DRINKS
As well as serving the best Guinness in Dalston and the usual Beavertown & Camden, we’re proud to serve a great selection of local craft beers from independent breweries of the likes of 40FT Brewery, Crate, Signature Brew & Hop King. We've an extensive spirits selection, especially single malts and gin, a solid wine list, and we now serve Espresso Martinis & Passionfruit Martinis on tap. I know!
PUB QUIZ
THE BEST PUB QUIZ IN HACKNEY RETURNS AFTER LOCKDOWN. YIPPEE! It’s a varied general knowledge affair, with music intros and a creative bonus round too. First place wins a £50 bar-tab, bottle of wine for 2nd place, a £25 bar tab at 40FT Brewery Tap Room for 4th place, a round of shots for coming 2nd to last, plus other spot prizes on the night. Pretty good, eh?
