Let’s get together for a good ol’ East End Christmas birthday knees up around the ol’ Joanna (we don’t have a piano, but we can use our imaginations). It's the pub's 5th birthday (#proudmum) 

There’ll be mince pies, birthday cake, facilities to play charades (we won’t force you - we’re not your real family), giant pass the parcel, pin the tail on the donkey, Bailey’s for the best Christmas jumper, mistletoe snogs and feast of Stephen Fries Burgers. 

Please bring some non-perishable food from the list below to pop under the tree. We’ll be filling some Santa sacks from now until Sunday 11th Dec for The Hackney Foodbank, who help feed families in the area over Christmas (and all year round).
