George 'Porky' Peckham is the enigma who scratched 'A Porky Prime Cut' into the run out groove of the countries most cherished records. Kick starting his apprenticeship at Apple Studios - as a result of selling Paul McCartney a bass amp in his early Liverpool band scene days - George went on to open the now legendary Porky's Mastering Services where he glassed mastered most of the finest records released in the UK from the late 70’s until the 90’s, and bamboozled record collectors everywhere by scratching ‘A Porky Prime Cut’ on them all. So to celebrate the record collectors favourite glass masterer, various DJ’s will be playing their personal favourite Porky Prime Cuts.
